I should add that I have taken away extend option in news. The page now goes direclty to full body with comments , see below. comment.ph p? comment.news. I would really like to figure out this plugin to work well with my news comment section. Please advise how to do this or see if there is a bug somewhere

I can not say anything authoritatively without seeing your theme.php code. And I recommend you establish a canononical URL for your news item to a URL in the news.php file itself (the default behaviour of the plugin). have a read: link: link: If you could show me how it 'breaks' your comment section using a screenshot, a URL or your theme that would be useful. Did you try the option of inserting the shortcode manually to your theme.php and turning off auto rendering?

The news position bug occued due to the plugin setting not being saved properly. It should have been ironed out a long time ago but I don't know how it got in the public release version. There would a bug fix release for this and when it becomes available at sourceforge.net the plugin should show it in the admin area. A 24 hour delay can be expected for this notification to show up as this is how the notification caching is configured. Inst ead if you want to use the SVN version this is the file to replace for fixing the bug - link:

Thanks agian for reporting it. **Edit** Found and fixed the issue, it will be committed to the SVN and a bug fix release will be made available. Thank you. [ Edited Sat Jul 31 2010, 05:35AM ]

Please try it out and let me know your feedback. If you don't trust that attachment you can checkout an SVN snapshot with TortoiseSVN from SourceForge.Net. I really want to know if it fixed your problem before I make a bugfix release. If anyone else can give me feedback about this bugfixed version this is the URL for SVN checkout - https://fb-like.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/fb-like/branches/0.7

I had to use the Iframe style and "not auto render" for news for it to work in the news section otherwise the downloads and forum worked fine Great thanks
