Lets take it to the forum here.. when you use the plugin embedd you are leaving it all to e107 hence e107 will render its caption ie the h2. Just do it like you will do with any javascript I'll explain it in the forum when I come back..

I got the menu in... i still cannot pad it that much, but i've made it fit anyways.
I've inserted it with this: {PLUGIN=q_tree_me nu} Now to next problem: a h2 for the menu shows up - how do I get rid of it ?

Here I have integrated the menu within the theme.php and not using it as a plugin. BTW I'm using an old version of q_treemenu the new version allows lot of configuration parameters within the admin area and its really cool.
I would again recommend integrating the new version to the theme directly and use the admin conf to configure it. Some little path changes are necessary, and the menu searches for a div with 'q_tree' as its id to render itself hope u got the idea...

I found q_tree_menu i guess it's that one you use - however i got some problems padding it :S
